  Recently I took delivery of my new car an E350 Sedan. This is my second Mercedes Benz. Sadly my old one was retired follow a significant accident. I had received news that morning that sadly my old Mercedes was a write off. On the way home from work that day I drove past Silver Star Burwood, as I do almost every day. I happened to see what is now my new car at the front.
  Traffic was horrendous at the time but returning from a dinner out with my son I elected to quickly drop in and see if this was the model that I wanted. Must be fate as I knew that I wanted an E350. I had a close look and was pleasantly surprised. Price appeared ok and thought that I would call in the next morning to have a look. Next day I rang the dealership and was put through to Bill Yu. I spoke to him briefly and found him to be very pleasant and knowledgable.
  I made an appointment to see the vehicle in a few hours. I arrived at the dealership and was met promptly and made to feel very welcome by the receptionist. Bill was still finishing his other appointment (I had arrived early). I was offered a coffee but elected to go and have a look at the vehicle whilst I waited. Kindly the receptionist arranged for the vehicle to be unlocked. A few minutes later I met Bill and he informed me that he would not be long. Sure enough he came over to see me and straight away I feel that I was dealing with the right person.
  Bill went over the vehicle with me highlighting the features and fitted options. The features of the car were so well explained that I knew exactly what was on offer and what to expect. All I could think of was how could it be that the first vehicle I see is that one that I want to buy. 24 hours earlier I was not aware that I was to be in the market the next day. I took the vehicle for a drive, during which Bill went over even more features of the vehicle.
  When we returned to the dealership I explained to Bill that my dilemma was that I had not yet received written confirmation that my old vehicle was going to be written off. There was no preasure rather a suggestions of most reasonable and fair options. I left the delearship to go home and ring the insurers to get the confirmation that I needed to commit to a purchase. Bill rang me a few hours later to say that there was another person that was going to look at the car in a few hours as the price had been dropped several thousand dollars from the sticker price to the new advertised price, but certainly did not do it in a forceful or pushy manner rather in what I felt was a genuine caring attitude. Bill also informed me that the vehicle was covered by a Mercedes Benz Certified 2 year warranty.
  After receiving confirmation from my insurer, I promptly returned. Bill diligently went through the warranty provided with the vehicle. The whole thing just stacked up right. Within 3 minutes I confirmed that I wished to purchase the vehicle. The whole process was such a fantastic experience, the product was explained fantastically, the benefits of buying from them and the warranty were for me the clincher. Bill was simply outstanding!!!!
  I took delivery of the vehicle several days later. At delivery Bill sat in the car and spent about an hour making sure that I would leave the dealership fully understanding every facet of the vehicle. He had even saved my seat settings the night before so that I did not need to do that again. The whole process was just fantastic. Honestly I felt that I was buying a brand new car. The whole team but especially Bill can not be more highly commended for their contribution to my new acquisition. The service experience was truthfully 11 out of 10. Wow what more can I say but will I be back, yes I will one day, but in the meant time I will sing their praises loud and clear. I use this customer service experience story in my business to explain to my staff what a good experience looks and feels like. Thank you Bill and Silver Star for making this experience amazing.
